Worship not only glorifies Elohim as we bless Him with our praise and worship, but also worship can position us for receiving from Him as well. When we bless Him with our worship, we are blessed in turn with His peace, love, joy and other spiritual gifts that He wishes to bless us with. Sometimes He may gift us with revelation, a deeper understanding of His love for us, His plans for us, or other wisdom as He chooses.
Worship can also be a tool used in spiritual warfare. Such as when the enemy attacks you physically, financially, emotionally and even spiritually, which in turn steals our blessings of peace, joy, and others that Elohim has given us.
When we are hit with an enemy attack, if we choose to praise Elohim for all He has blessed us with rather than focus on the enemy, we will be victorious. When we focus on the good in our lives, and look to our Creator instead of all the negative around us, or within us, then those beautiful spiritual gifts will be uncovered so we can once again experience peace, love, joy, and other gifts.
It is through or worship that those bondages are broken off from us. When we worship Elohim, He builds up our spirits and the enemy loses, every time.
Today, I want to encourage each of us, myself included, to set time aside to worship our Creator. Take time to ponder on all the good in our lives, to seek His face for one-on-one time with our Abba (Daddy) so He can refill our spiritual tanks with His glorious gifts of love, joy, peace and so much more.
Let us not give the enemy a foothold in our lives, in our families, and instead let us worship and praise the Almighty God for all the blessings around us, and within us.
